Itinerary

Day 1 ON ARRIVAL CAPE TOWN

The natural wonders and picturesque landscapes of South Africa welcome you

On arrival in Cape Town after clearing customs & immigrations formalities we shall proceed to board our coach for transfer to the hotel. Spend remainder of the day at leisure. Spend overnight at Hotel Sun square Cape Town City Bowl / Similar.

Day 2 CAPE TOWN

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Later we depart on a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Travel at a pace that allows you to explore the beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes, passing Hout Bay. Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting).  During summer, several thousand Cape Fur Seals – along with the rare Black Cormorant – lollop leisurely among the kelp beds. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.  Indigenous fauna and flora are conserved in this priceless wilderness area.  The scenery en route to Cape Point, at the South Western tip of the reserve, is particularly lovely in spring when wildflowers carpet the landscape.  The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean.  Ascend to the top by Funicular. Enjoy a visit to the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach before you return to Cape Town.

Day 3 CAPE TOWN

After having breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a private City Tour of Cape Town and Table Mountain. Ascend Table Mountain for unforgettable sweeping views (weather permitting). Return to the city through the Malay Quarter, past the Castle, and around Table Bay to Millerton lighthouse. Later proceed for a 12-15 mins Helicopter Ride (weather permitting) to enjoy aerial view of the famous beaches, 12 apostles, etc. (Infants not allowed in helicopter ride). Later proceed back to the hotel, spend remainder of the day at leisure, enjoy dinner at the hotel & spend overnight at hotel.

Day 4 CAPE TOWN – GARDEN ROUTE (Driving time 5 Hrs Approx.)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel we will head to George – Garden Route, which is set in a semi-arid valley. Drive through the Wine lands along the Breede River Valley. Continue to George. Arrive at Hotel & overnight at the Hotel King George / Similar.

En-route stop at Mossel Bay

  • Mossel Bay is situated exactly half way between Cape Town – the provincial capital of the Western Cape Province – and Port Elizabeth (both 400 km away).
  • The town offers more than 60 kilometres of beaches with warm, beach-going weather throughout the year. From the riches of the Indian Ocean, the Cape fynbos and the Outeniqua Mountains to the culture that stretches back over 164,000 years, this town offers so many things to do.

Day 5 GARDEN ROUTE – OUDTSHOORN – GARDEN ROUTE

After enjoying the breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Oudtshoorn – ‘the Feather Capital of the World’, its a drive of 2 ½ hours to Oudtshoorn Our first halt will be World famous Cango Caves, where the stalactite and stalagmite formations are an incredible sight. Thereafter, drive to ‘Cheetah Ranch’, where you can marvel at the grace and beauty of the world’s fastest animal. Later proceed to the Safari Ostrich Farm where you can enjoy shows performed by well-trained birds. You also have the opportunity to ride this magnificent bird and try your luck at breaking an ostrich egg, which is an impossible task. Later we drive back to hotel. Arrive at the hotel. There is some time to rest. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 GARDEN ROUTE (Visit to all optional activities)

After having breakfast, we proceed to Tsitsikamma & Plettenberg-Bay area, were We visit the world’s highest Bungee Jumping from the famous Bloukrans Bridge, Zip line, Sky Diving, Whale / Dolphin watching etc. Later in the evening we return back to the hotel. spend overnight in the hotel.

Enjoy a visit to the Tsitsikamma National Park.

  • The Tsitsikamma National Park is situated at the heart of the picturesque Garden Route.
  • Tsitsikamma is a Khoisan word meaning, “place of much water”.
  • In 1964 when it was proclaimed, it became the first Marine National Park in Africa and today the Park incorporates 80 km (50 miles) of rocky coastline with spectacular sea and landscapes.
  • The Tsitsikamma’s spectacular scenery includes the Indian Ocean breakers, pounding rocky shores beneath 180 m high cliffs, ever-green forests and fynbos rolling down to the sea.

Imp Note: On this day we can do maximum of 2/3 optional activities depending on the time available & the size of the group.

Day 7 GEORGE – JOHANNESBURG – KWA MARITANE BUSH LODGE

After having breakfast at the hotel and check out.

You will be met by your driver & guide for a private transfer to George (GRJ) Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.

Arrive at OR Tambo (JNB) International Airport, where you will be met our representative who will assist you to your coach for your transfer to the Pilanesberg National Park (approximately 3 hours’ drive).

Lunch is served at the lodge upon arrival (Arrival time permitting – as per flight Schedule)

Afternoon game drive which may continue into the early evening in order to view the nocturnal animals as well.

Dinner is served at the lodge. Overnight at Kwa Maritane.

Day 8 KWA MARITANE

Early morning wake up call, after tea, coffee and snacks your ranger will escort you to his open safari vehicle for your morning game drive in the Pilanesberg National Park.

  • The malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park ranks among the largest national parks in southern Africa.
  • It is situated on the eroded remains of an extinct alkaline volcanic crater – one of only three such extensive craters in the world.
  • The Pilanesberg countryside comprises numerous hills and broad open plains and is well stocked with over 80 species of wild animals and 360 bird species.
  • There is definite potential for sightings of the Big Five – lion, rhino, elephant, leopard and buffalo.
  • A bottle of water, a soft drink and a packet of chips are included on the scheduled seat-in-vehicle safari.
  • The drive is approximately 3 hours.
  • Return to your hotel and enjoy breakfast. Spend the day at leisure.

Return to your hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

Day 9 DAY TRIP AT SUN CITY

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be met by your driver for your transfer to Sun City for a full day at leisure.

Deep in the heart of the bushveld, at the heart of an ancient volcano, lays sensational Sun City.

  • Africa’s Kingdom of Pleasure comprises four marvellous hotels, all offering the fantastic facilities of this legendary resort.
  • Sun City offers an enormous range of things to do – both indoors and out. There is also lot of extra activities like (Quad Biking, Paragliding, Horse Riding, Clay Pigeon, Archery, etc. all are optional). Enjoy some time exploring the magnificent gardens of the Lost City, Kwena, Crocodile Farm. Last but not the least don’t forget to enjoy artificial Earth Quake.
  • Scintillating entertainment; shows in the Sun City theatre, casinos, games and video arcade, a selection of movies in the cinema complex as well as a wonderful selection of shops and boutiques stocking souvenirs and mementoes of your time at one of the greatest resorts in South Africa.

Return to your lodge in the late afternoon. Dinner at Kwa Maritane, Overnight at Kwa maritane.

Day 10 KWA MARITANE – LION PARK – JOHANNESBURG

Early morning wake up call. After tea, coffee and snacks your ranger will escort you to his open safari vehicle for your Early morning private 4×4 open vehicle safari game drive in the Pilanesberg National Park.

Return to your hotel for breakfast and check out.

You will be met by your driver-guide for your private transfer to Johannesburg (approximately 3 hours’ drive).

Enjoy a most memorable tour, you will get, once in a lifetime experience to view the lions from up close, while all clients stay in the cage of the vehicle, which will give you an adrenaline rush. Also enjoy unique awe inspiring attractions: Cheetah & Wild Dog Viewing & Feeding the Giraffes!

Visit the Lion and Safari Park for a Predator Tour.

  • Led by one of our qualified and experienced guides the 1 hour guided tour will
    introduce you to some of South Africa’s most famous predators.
  • This amazing experience in one of our modern safari trucks will take you through the Lion, Wild dog and Cheetah enclosures where you will have an opportunity to find out more about these incredible animals.
  • During the tour, you may also get the opportunity to see many of our herbivore species including Giraffe, Zebra, Springbok, and Impala.

Johannesburg City Orientation tour (If Time Permitting)

  • Discover Johannesburg, known as the ‘City of Gold’ and South Africa’s economic heart.
  • Travel through the bustling hub of the Newtown district, past Nelson Mandela Bridge towards Constitution Hill.
  • Should time allow, continue to the suburb of Sandton, one of Johannesburg’s wealthiest neighbourhoods and spend some leisure time at Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square, prime shopping, lifestyle and dining destinations.
  • Nelson Mandela Square is also home to an iconic statue of Nelson Mandela.

Later check in to hotel, rest of the evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Emperor Place Peermont D’Oreale Grande hotel.

Day 11 JOHANNESBURG – MUMBAI

After breakfast it’s the time to say Goodbye to your new friends in South Africa. Checkout of the hotel & proceed Johannesburg International Airport for your flight back home. Take back wonderful memories of your South African tour.

  • Any Increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangements which may come in to effect prior to departure
  • Any extra expense such as route change, Airline change, Date change, Accommodation facilities, etc incurred due to the unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeure circumstances during the tour
